The Gunman

Tennessee Walker, a notorious gunman drifting through Texas, happens upon a tense conflict between landowners. Tenn knows he should just ride on. He has his own troubles.
Ruth Hardin and her son are Mormon folk. Tennessee knows little of their ways,
but cattle are being stolen, and Ruth—a pretty widow who understands nothing of guns or the term fighting wages—begs him to stay. She and Colby can’t drive their cattle to market alone. Needing more than Tenn’s one gun, Ruth must hire men who know cows and aren’t afraid to pull the trigger for the brand.
To make matters worse, Tenn’s nemesis, a contract killer, turns up, and Tennessee begins to suspect this web is even more tangled than he originally believed.
Will this unlikely collaboration succeed, or will all the Hardins possess be lost?
